"Ted Kennedy, After-Life"

"Kennedy Asks to Alter Laws on His Successor" ?
Under current law, his seat will possibly be vacant when the "Healthcare Reform" bill comes up for a vote. The present law states the seat is vacant until a special election can be held 145 to 160 days later.

Ironically Ted Kennedy led the way for the existence of this current state law changed in 2004 which then proclaimed for the governor to appoint a temporary replacement if a Senate seat became vacant. But when Senator John Kerry, a Democrat, was running for president that year, the Democratic-controlled state legislature wanted to deny the governor at the time — Mitt Romney, a Republican — the power to name a successor if Mr. Kerry won.

We all know that Ted Kennedy championed for a National Healthcare program for
over a couple of decades. Could his dream finally become a reality? Even in death he still has a powerful voice.

"The IHC and 2012"

The IHC: The Institute for Human Continuity says the downfall of humanity will happen on December 21, 2012.
"How'd they come up with that date?" Maybe it's because they want to promote the
movie coming out November 13, 2012 as seen from the "2012 - Official Movie Site". Or maybe they want to help people survive the so-called aftermath...Makes me wanna say "Hmmm".

You can see more
About the IHC on their website:

The Institute for Human Continuity is dedicated to scientific research and public preparedness. After more than two decades of rigorous research from the worlds top astronomers, mathematicians, geologists, physicists, anthropologists, engineers, futurists...we know in 2012 a series of cataclysmic forces will wreak havoc on our planet. The IHC developed a number of initiatives to prepare the world for this inevitability.

There's even a lottery for people to have a chance to survive with other lottery
winners on the site. This is great stuff! Look's like a night at the movies in a few years.

"Health Care Reform is Good for Competition"

"About 60,000 seniors have quit AARP since July 1 due to the group's support for health care reform, a spokesman for the organization said this week." FOX News says.

Apparently some of AARP's huge membership is having a falling out with the management's choice of backing President Obama's healthcare plan and they are defecting to ASA's group based on their strong fight against the reform.

"ASA is looking out for seniors by fighting a health care reform bill that will cost upward of $1.8 trillion over the next 10 years and cuts in Medicare of $500 billion. ASA wants seniors to live longer, more fulfilling years of life-- not an “end of life” continuum that this bill suggests." ASA proclaims in their web site .

ASA's much smaller membership is wasting no time from its big competitor's mistake and capitalizing big time.

The american free enterprise system is alive and kicking.

AARP's loss is ASA's gain.
